Frassati Fairfax

Under the patronage of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati, a young saint who loved fraternal charity, serving the poor, and building a milieu of joy with his friends and neighbors, we are a team of young adults in our 20’s and 30’s, single and couples, who are striving together to deepen our faith, serve the Church and community, and evangelize the culture.

 

Weekly on Thursday: Wine & the Word
                        -What: gather for fellowship and bible study 
                        -When: fellowship at 7:30 P.M. followed by bible study from 8 to 9 P.M.
                        -Where: (weather permitting) patio behind St. Leo the Great rectory
                                        (rain – conference room in parish office)
 
Monthly: First Saturday: Daily Mass and Brunch
                        -Daily mass at 9:00 A.M. at St. Leo the Great
                        -Brunch at location TBD following mass
 
                   Second Friday: Holy Hours
                      -Adoration at 7:30 P.M. at St. Leo the Great
                      -Social activity at 8:30 P.M. (games, ice cream, drinks, bowling, etc.)
 
                  Third Monday: Fairfax Theology on Tap
                      -Who: Hosted by the Diocese for people of all faith backgrounds between the ages of 21 and 39

                      -When: Gather for drinks, appetizers, and/or dinner at 6:30 P.M., presentation at 7:30 P.M., and Q&A 
                      -Where: Auld Shebeen [3971 Chain Bridge Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030]
 
Running Group: All paces welcome! We also have bonfires & social gatherings after many of the runs; if you just happen to miss the run, you haven’t missed the fun.

Frassati F3 Men’s Group: Think you have what it takes? F3 is a men’s workout group, with the mission to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. Our workouts: are free of charge; are open to all men; are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold; are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary; and end with a Circle of Trust.  Saturday Mornings at 5am in Church Parking lot.
