First Communion Masses will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 and Saturday May 13, 2023. Rehearsals will be held on the Thursday before.

What can I do to prepare my child for First Communion?

Taking them to Mass regularly and praying with them at home are great ways to prepare your child.

When is First Communion?

Depending on your child’s class assignment, their First Communion will be held on one of two Saturdays in May of 2023. 

 What do we need to know about the First Communion banner?

Information on student and family arrival times will be provided to the parents/guardians.  

 Where do we meet?

 How long does the Mass last?

Mass will last until approximately one hour. 

 How should my child dress?

Girls should wear white dresses with sleeves or a sweater with dress shoes.  First Communion cannot be distributed in the hand if gloves are worn.

Boys should wear dress slacks, a dress shirt and tie, and dress shoes.

 Can we take pictures?

No photography is allowed in the church or the church vestibule.  You may, however, take photographs outside of the church.  

  What else do we need to know?

We plan to have a reception after Mass for the families in May 2023.
