What we are:

The Fr. Francis J. Diamond Knights of Columbus council #6292 is a men’s fraternal, charitable and religious organization. Our Council was founded in 1971. We are Catholic men dedicated to serving God and our community with about 400 members. We are a very family oriented organization with deep roots in our church and communities.

Over the last year, the Father Diamond Council at St. Leo’s has:

    • Raised over $25,000 for the intellectually disabled through their KOVAR “Tootsie Roll campaign”;
    • Contributed $68,000 to various charitable and religious activities;
    • Provided 50 food baskets to needy families for Thanksgiving;
    • Conducted their annual “Keep Christ in Christmas” card sales and Christmas Tree sales to raise funds for their service projects;
    • Provided 50 food baskets for Christmas in conjunction with the St Leo’s Social Ministry
    • Hosted the annual Parish Picnic;
    • Sponsored (and cooked!) the parish family breakfasts on the third Sunday of the month;
    • Manned the food drive collection on the second and fourth Sundays of each month and collected an average of 30 to 50 bags of food for distribution by the St Leo’s Social Ministry
    • Sponsored a Men’s Retreat and Day of Recollection for 60 men in the parish

Exciting Future:

We are very excited and anxious to welcome Catholic men into our K of C Council through our new membership process.  Because we are a family oriented, fraternal organization, the Knights of Columbus have made the process much easier and meaningful to Catholic men and their families.  Full membership into the Knights of Columbus is attained by attending a single Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternalism. A candidate’s family and friends are invited to attend the exemplification with him.
