Habemus Papam!
Pope Leo XIV has been elected as the 267th pope of the Catholic Church — and the first American to hold the papal office.
Pope Leo XIV brings not only rich leadership experience but a deep faith rooted in Augustinian spirituality. Quoting St. Augustine in his first address, he reminded us that he walks with the faithful first as a Christian, then as their shepherd.
It is especially meaningful for us at Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church to now share a name with the newly elected Holy Father — a source of joy and inspiration for our parish community.
Let us pray for Pope Leo XIV as he leads the Church with courage, wisdom, and love.
With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis—a humble shepherd, faithful servant, and tireless witness to Christ’s love. May he rest in the eternal peace of God’s embrace.
At Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church, we lift our prayers for the repose of his soul and offer gratitude for his leadership and devotion to the Gospel. We invite you to join us in prayer during this time of mourning and transition.
Through Masses, Rosaries, and quiet moments of reflection, our parish family gathers in faith and gratitude to honor his life and legacy. All are welcome.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
As the Catholic Church awaits the next successor of Pope Francis, we invite parishioners of all ages to share their prediction for the name the new Pope might take—and why. Although some may assume that the Pope simply keeps his birth name, each newly elected Pope chooses a new name inspired by saints, previous Popes, or values he hopes to embody during his papacy. Let's inspire faith-filled conversation rooted in our rich Catholic tradition.
This fun and meaningful contest is hosted by Saint Leo the Great Parish, inviting our community to engage in reflection, creativity, and dialogue as we await this historic moment.

Our Lenten pilgrimage to Philadelphia was a profound experience of prayer, reflection, and renewal. Highlights included Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and venerating the relics of St. John Neumann and St. Katharine Drexel. Thank you to all who participated in this sacred journey!
On March 19th, our school celebrated the Solemnity of Saint Joseph with a special Mass led by fathers and grandfathers. The second reading, proclaimed in Spanish, highlighted our community's unity. The homily emphasized Saint Joseph’s righteousness through love, commitment, and time with God.
